Galvan Obit PicBobby Galvan, 58, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015.

Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.  Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2015, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.  Military rites are by DAV Chapter 26.  Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015, in Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Bobby was born Aug. 28, 1956, in Anson, to Elias and Hortencia Galvan.  He graduated from Anson High School in 1974, enlisted in the Navy and served from 1974-1977, and was a certified deep-sea diver.  He was a master in his trade as an electrician.  Bobby loved trying new things, loved his job and loved staying busy, travelling and spending time with his family. He was a generous and loving man. Bobby was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.

Survivors include four daughters, Trisha and Luis Vega, Jennifer Galvan and Saul Gallegos and JoAnn Montenegro, all of Amarillo and Erica Serrano of Ft. Worth; three sons, Bobby Lee Galvan and Danielle Zamora, Christopher Montenegro and Gabriel Montenegro, all of Amarillo; two former wives, Luisa Garces and Aundria Garcia, both of Amarillo; his mother, Hortencia Galvan of Anson; two sisters, Velma and Edward Rodriguez and Alma and David Galvan, all of San Antonio; two brothers, Fabian Galvan of Anson and Lee and Stephanie Galvan of Amarillo; a cousin, Irma and Alvin Garcia of Amarillo; sixteen grandchildren; and many more close, loving and beautiful cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
