Goodbye, Uncle. I was returning from Brazil the day that the Lord called you home. When I got the message on Saturday, I realized that the men of my generation are now the “elders” of our family. I hope that we can lead with as much energy and joy of life that I witnessed from you. I have many fond memories of the stories and jokes at family gatherings and I especially treasured that you and Daddy could share an easy smile. I pray that Leslie, David, Lynna, and, indeed, all of our extended family will remember that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, has prepared a place for those He has called.
