Chris I knew you like no other. You have been there for me this past year and our time together is something I have been so greatful for. There is no one in the world like you and never will be again. My heart is so broken. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you. How did I ever make it before you and now after? I’m at a loss. I have so many things I want to say but what matters is that I love you and I will find you again on the other side. I miss you Chris, every second of every day. I will never be the same.

Francine and Melanie, Mutt sends his condolences and wished he could have been here. You raised one of the finest men I have ever known. His love for both of you was spoken many times. The service was one of the most comforting that I have ever attended. The video was SO Chris and I was comforted and not saddened by it. His void is vast, but the memories of him live on and will eventually fill that void with pleasantness.

We are saddened for your loss but we all remembered Chris fondly, remembering school days in Dumas and keeping in touch through Facebook. Chris was so talented and did some landscaping for Aimee and Will in Dripping Springs. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Chris and I had been friends for about 20 years, but we became really good friends over the past 2 years. In May 2015, we saw a real drop in my dad’s health and it was happening very rapidly. We eventually found out that it was Stomach cancer and unfortunately it was rather advanced. They gave him 2 options: complete gastrectomyin addition to multiple rounds of chemo and radiation therapy both before and after surgery or Hospice. After being camped out in the Hospital for several days while my dad was recovering from Surgery, I get a message on Facebook from who else but Chris Northcutt asking me to lunch. I was ready to get out of the Hospital for a bit, so I said yes. He swung by, picked me up, and we headed out to have a bite to eat. We spent about 2 hours just talking about life and family and our fathers and all other things. He had been through the same thing before with his dad and he just wanted to be supportive because he knew how it felt. He and I just really bonded over that and he became 1of my closest friends. He and I had so many similarities and I just wanted his Mother and the rest of his family to know how much I valued his friendship and loyalty he gave me. He and I had a lot of in-depth talks where I got to know a different side of the guy and I can tell you 3 things that were absolute: he really missed his dad, loved his mom something fierce, and he knew Jesus. I hate that he is gone, but I know he is in a better place and I look forward to seeing him again some day. My condolences and I would be more than happy to help if y all need anything…
