Christy Beavers – November 30, 2017

Christy Gregoris Beavers, 50, of Hereford, died Thursday, November 30, 2017.  A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Christine Elaine was born on a Wednesday, October 6, 1967 in Tulsa, Ok. to Stephen and Judy Gregoris.  She was our blessing after her daddy came home from Vietnam.  She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was a small girl and followed him every day of her life after.  She was known for her infectious laugh, compassionate spirit, and fearless way she faced each day.  She had a taste for Grand Adventures. She never met a stranger and loved without limits. Regardless of the pain she was in or how she felt, she always met you with a smile and a joke to make you feel better.  Her green and gold eyes always sparkled and lit up a room.

She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1985.  She had worked as an office administrator in the medical field for many years.  She was very active in the Hereford Chamber Singers and the Hereford Community Choir.  She taught Sunday School for many years at Southwest Baptist Church in Amarillo and had served as senior warden at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hereford.

She married Chad Beavers on May 28, 2000 in Hereford. The two were best friends soulmates, and playmates

She is survived by her husband, Chad Beavers; her mother, Judy Gregoris of Amarillo; her sister, Juli Tittle and husband David of Amarillo; mother and father in law, Sandy and Manuel Beavers; a sister in law, Kimmie Neugebauer and husband Larry of Dumas; a brother in law, Brett Beavers of Hereford, three nieces, Jessica Neugebauer, Mikaila Beavers, and Ellie Tittle; six nephews, Shawn Neugebauer, Adam Neugebauer, Brandon Beavers, Jared Beavers, Andrew Tittle, and John Tittle; and several great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Gregoris, and her grandparents, Julia and Stephen Gregoris, and Elizabeth and A.T. Burks.
