Stone Obit PhotoErnest Robert “Bobby” Stone, 65, of Claude died Friday, May 29, 2015.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of Claude with the Reverend Dick Gravely officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery.   Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers at Claude, 200 Parks.

Ernest Robert “Bobby” Stone was born June 2, 1949, in Amarillo to Earnest and Elizabeth Stone. He grew up in Amarillo and attended Palo Duro High School. He was called home to the Lord on May 29, 2015, at his home in Claude.

Bobby was an extremely proud native Texan. He loved Ford Motor vehicles and was a lifelong mechanic. He loved country and western music, Texas swing music, line dancing and two- stepping. He also loved to participate in a good debate whenever he got the chance.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Shoemake; his brother, Michael Stone Sr.; and a stepson, Joshua Casey.

Survivors include his wife, Sherri Stone of Claude; his sons, Tony Stone and Chris and Tera Stone, all of Bridgeport, Scott and Mayra Stone of Fresno, Calif., Ben and Andrea Stone of Claude and Josh and Anna O’Brien of Canyon; his daughters, Stacey O’Brien of Minneapolis, Minn., Kristin Casey of Hereford and Amanda Casey of Claude; 17 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his father, Earnest Stone of Spearman.

Viewing will be from 11a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

    I have not been around Bobby for a very long time, but the memories will last the rest of my live.The times we had were some of the best. I am very proud to have known Bobby and his family.God bless Bobby Stone .
