Janet was a very special friend. We shared so many wonderful hours around her table drinking coffee and letting the dog out and in. She was always so positive and had a good word and excellent advice to give. After she moved to Amarillo, I enjoyed my trips to and from Albuquerque more because she was there to stop and visit with.
I always was impressed with how involved she was with her family when they came to visit – the games they played, the shopping the girls did, and the places they went. The world would be a better place if all families were as loving and close as hers.
I was priviledge to get to meet her mom and visit her when she came to Longview. You could see from her Mom where Janet got her love of crafting.
Janet will be missed greatly. Her passing has left a hole in my heart.

Janet was one of the sweetest and most caring persons I have ever known. She and I first met in the late ’90s at a quilting meeting; then we spent many hours together enjoying our love of quilting. She moved from Longview soon after I did. I still miss her.
