Rowdy Eric Brakhage, 20, of Santa Fe, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Rowdy was born Oct. 16, 1996, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, CA to Scott and Christine Brakhage. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, TX and worked for Franklin Drilling.
Survivors include his father, Scotty Brakhage, of Amarillo; his mother, Christine Brakhage, of Santa Fe, Texas; three sisters, Amber Dowdy, of Groves, Ciara Parker, of Hanahan, SC and Amanda Ryan, of Santa Fe, Texas; two brothers, Jonathan Morrison of Lake Jackson and Keith McLaughlin of Santa Fe, Texas; his grandfather, William Gronberg, of Blaine, Minn.; and his grandmother, Mary Williams, of Indiana; and a long list of friends.
Scotty, I am so sorry for your loss! I hope knowing that people care will help you in the days ahead. May God help you cope through this difficult time.
