David Lee Watson – August 13, 2017

David Lee Watson, 65, of Booker died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.
Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, in Washington Avenue Christian Church with Jim Shelburne officiating.   Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
David was born March 23, 1952, in Amarillo to Billy and Patricia Watson.  He was a meat cutter and market manager in the grocery business.
David was a member of Friends Church in Booker.
Survivors include his former wife, Penny Bates, of Amarillo; a son, Dustin Watson and wife Melanie, of Amarillo; a daughter, Tammy Ennis and husband David, of Norman, Okla; five grandchildren, Ashlyn Robinett and husband, Scotty, of Macomb, Okla., Hayden Ennis, of Ada, Okla. and Caylee Watson, Hunter Ennis and Chloé Watson, all of Amarillo; three great-grandchildren, Easton Robinett and Gracie Robinett, both of Macomb, Okla. and Kanon Taylor Ennis, of Newalla, Okla.; a sister, Jody Kile and husband, Jim, of Amarillo; a brother, Billy Ray Watson and wife Paulette, of Amarillo; two nieces, Christina Fergison and husband Keith, of Round Rock and Jamie Kile, of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; two nephews, Michael Watson and wife Ashley, of Dalhart and Christopher Watson, of Amarillo; dearly loved cousins; and a special friend and caregiver, Donna Reyes.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Second Chance Foundation, 1600 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106; or to National MS Society, 8111 N. Stadium Drive, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77054.
