Penny Arlene Corman – August 15, 2017

Penny Arlene Corman, 71, of Amarillo, Texas, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., (MDT) Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, in First St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Burlington, Colo. with pastor, Jeff Hanson, officiating.  Burial will be at 2:00 p.m.(MDT), Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017, in Kremmling Cemetery, in Kremmling, Colorado.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Penny was born April 30, 1946, in Denver, Colorado and raised in Kremmling to Mike and Winona Hinman.  She graduated from West Grand High School, attended Arizona State University in Tempe and graduated from Colorado State University.
She was actively involved in family businesses and co-founder of Health Essentials in Burlington, Colorado.  Penny lived in Burlington for many years and most recently in Amarillo.
Penny had a passion for her five grandchildren and everything they participated in.  She loved watching them all rodeo and compete in various sports.  She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, poker with her grandkids, traveling with friends, knitting and her love for the Lord.  One of her favorite times of the year was calving season.  She loved being on call to watch the mommas calving.  She enjoyed a life full of fishing with her sister and her countless nights on the back deck at her new lake house.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Rod Hinman.
Survivors include two sons, Greg Corman and wife Juhree, of Burlington, Colorado and Jerry Corman and wife Celeste, of Canyon; a sister, Peg Toft, of Kremmling, Colorado; and five grandchildren, Stetson, Cheylin, Braxton, Brock and Hunter.
The family suggests memorials to Colorado Jr. Rodeo Association, 17035 Road 26, Brush, CO 80723.

  1. I knew Penny for a short time and we became instant friends when she moved to the lake. She was a kind, caring person who will be greatly missed.
