Roy James “RJ” McCray, 30, of Lubbock, died Tuesday, August 30, 2016.McCray Obit Photo
Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday in Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, with Ray Perryman and Roger Morris officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd, Amarillo, Texas.
RJ was born on January 21, 1986 in Baltimore, Maryland, to Janet Davis and Tracy Williams. He graduated from Lubbock-Cooper High School in 2004 and American Motorcycle Institute in 2005.  RJ lived in Vega and worked for Kirkland Seed Company in 2011 – 2012.  He moved to the Lubbock area and resided until present. He spent his life enjoying his family.  He had a deep love for them all.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working with his hands.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James A. Davis and aunt, Jane Williams.
He is survived by his mother, Janet Davis, of Oklahoma; his father, Tracy Williams and wife Tammy of Ohio; his wife, Shawna D. McCray of Lubbock; his children, Roland, Harley and Tatem McCray of Texas; his step-children, Tawnee and Maddye McAfee; his grandfather, Chuck Williams of Colorado; his grandmothers, Judy McCray and Sharon Wells of Ohio; Marie Davis of Vega; Frances Davis of Oklahoma City; his sisters, Celeste Braker of Lubbock and Bianca and husband Jon Musgrave of Ohio; his brother, Charlie Williams of Ohio; aunts and uncles; Don and Rita Williams of California; Josh and Allie Williams of Colorado; Trisha and Brandon Gary of Kansas; Sean McCray of Ohio; Kenny Davis of Texas; Marla Atchison and Jay Atchison, both of Oklahoma and Kevin Atchison of Florida; his nephew, Cole Braker; his niece; Eden Braker, both of Lubbock; and a whole lot of family that loved him.

  7. RIP RJ. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY EVERYONE..ITS SUCH A SAD ORDEAL BUT I PRAY FOR THE FAMILY AND ESPECIALLY SHAWNA AND THE CHILDREN. RJ WAS AN OUTSTANDING PERSON, AND WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
