Agustin Cruz Villagomez

Agustin Cruz Villagomez, 67, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away on August 15, 2025.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Agustin was born in El Sabino, Guanajuato, Mexico, on April 15, 1958, to Delores (Cruz) and Jesus Villagomez.

Agustin married Tawnya Elizabeth Pike in Reno, Nevada, on September 1, 1979. They had been together since January 1978.

Agustin worked for Economy Lumber in Campbell, California, from 1988 to 2012. He then went to work at McCoy’s Building Supply, where he worked from 2012 until his retirement in December of 2024.

Agustin enjoyed spending time in his yard and planting plants. He loved his cats – Luna, Gato, Dusty, Abby, and Ginger. He enjoyed visiting his family in Mexico.

He is survived by his wife, Tawnya Villagomez; children, Tami Villagomez and husband Salvador, Anthony Villagomez and wife Tiffany, and Roy Reese and wife Teresa; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Juan Villagomez; sister, Josefina Villagomez Rosas; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
