Betty Sue Bray

Betty Sue Bray, 83, of Amarillo, died Thursday, April 30, 2026.

No services will be held. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Betty was born and raised in Amarillo on March 3, 1943 in Amarillo, Texas to Elizabeth and Horace Bray. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1961. Betty had worked as a security guard in Arlington and Amarillo.

She enjoyed watching television, being outside, and watering flowers. Betty was an Elvis Presley fanatic. She enjoyed taking trips and doing anything that was fun. Betty loved animals especially horses. She was loved very much and will be missed very much.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Tracy Milian and husband Mark of Arlington, Texas and Kristen Coleman of Amarillo; son, Derek Coleman of Amarillo; sister, Belva Osborn and niece Darla; brother, Dale Bray; and grandson, Austin Milian; former husband, Neal Coleman of Amarillo.
