Bigbee Carl "Bob" Phillips

Bigbee Carl “Bob” Phillips, 86, of Dumas, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on July 3, 1939 in Quitaque, Texas and spent his life as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather as well as a farmer, John Deere diesel mechanic, and maintenance technician for the Dumas ISD transportation department. He was known above all for his love for fishing and telling a good story.

A celebration of life will be held on April 6 at 1 pm at First Methodist Church, 401 Binkley, Dumas, Texas.
