Billie Faye West, 93, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on February 13, 2023.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 20, 2023, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Jim Powell officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Billie was born in Amarillo, Texas on April 14, 1929, to Minnie Frances and John Wesley Murphy. She married Clovis West on August 22, 1964.

Billie had worked for Levi for 10 years. Once she retired, she and Clovis bought a little store and bait shop at Lake Tawakoni. She loved to camp, fish, crochet, craft, garden, and spend time with her family. Billie enjoyed square dancing and attending Blue Grass Festivals. She also enjoyed getting out in the street and playing softball.

The family would like to give a huge thank you to High Plains Senior Health Care, High Plains Hospice, and Choice Health Palliative Care for the loving care they gave to Billie. Their staff is so compassionate and caring. Her Occupational Therapist, Omar, meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis West; and sons, Barry McCollum, and Ronnie Stevens.

She is survived by her daughters, Becky Sinks, Judy Kitchens, and Gayle McCollum, all of Amarillo, Texas; sons, Bruce McCollum, of Amarillo, Texas, Skeeter West and wife Mirtha, of Weston, Florida; granddaughters, Kathy Otterstein and husband Bruce, and Tanya Smith and husband Dean; grandson, Matthew Irwin and wife Vivian; 6 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M., Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
