Billy Rains

Billy Rains, 52, of Tulia, TX, passed away 5/29/26.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Billy was a fun loving, happy-go-lucky guy. He enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He was great baseball player and considered the Amarillo softball community as family.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Priscilla Owensby, and Earl and Laverna Rains.

Billy is survived by his mother, Linda Morris of Amarillo, TX; father- Daryl Rains and wife Cindy, and children, Taylor, David, Issac of La Junta, CO; brother, Eric and Robyn Rains, and daughter, Olivia of Amarillo, TX; sister, Gretta Ballard and husband David, and sons, Brandon, Brennan, Bryce of Clovis, NM; and sister, Nikki Hansen and husband Ralph, and children, Madison, Nick, Ralph Jr., Maylee of Tulia, TX.
