Born on October 13, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas, to B.E. and Dorothy Mae Clark, Bobby moved with his family to Amarillo in 1952. Shortly after graduating from high school, he answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Hawaii until his honorable discharge in 1970.

Upon returning to Amarillo, Bobby began working at Plains Chevrolet. It was there that he met Debbie. They fell in love and were married on February 26, 1972, sharing a beautiful journey of 54 years that blessed them with Tyra and Bobby Shane.

Bobby possessed a lifelong passion for classic cars and drag racing, which beautifully shaped both his personal and professional life. Early in his career, Bobby spent many meaningful years working with his dad at Car City. Inspired by his dad having previously owned an auto auction, Bobby had always wanted to open one of his own. On July 13, 1988, he turned that dream into a reality with Debbie by his side, establishing USA Auto Auction, a business they owned and operated for 30 years. That family connection to the car business came full circle when Bobby also had the privilege of working with his son, Bobby Shane Clark, who shared his dedication and worked alongside him at both the auction and the car lot.

Above all, Bobby was a devoted family man who adored his children, and was a proud "Poppa" to his 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Mae Clark; his father, B.E. Clark; his stepmother, Bettye Clark; his stepbrother, Lester Tomlinson; his sister-in-law, Melissa Tomlinson; and his nephew, Brian Lair.

His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Debbie Clark; his daughter, Tyra Blandford and her husband, Rhett; and his son, Bobby Shane Clark and his wife, Lacey. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Braxton Blandford and wife Jordan, Rainie Armas and husband Cesar, Dalton Blandford, Bobby Reise Clark, Ryleigh Clark, and Braylon Blandford; his two precious great-grandchildren, Casen Armas and Collins Blandford; his sister and brother-in-law, Marshi and Greg Lair; his stepbrother, David Tomlinson; brother-in-law, Richard Abel; sister-in-law, Donna Abel; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends; and his loyal German Shepard, Duke.
