Brittany Alexandria Torres

Brittany Alexandria Torres, 27, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on May 27, 2024. 

Visitation will be from 5-7:30 PM, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Life Church, 8600 Canyon Expy. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

Brittany was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 7, 1996, to Daniel Torres and Jackie Sanchez. She graduated from Canyon High School in 2015, and went to Amarillo College. 

Brittany found her purpose when she became a mom. She loved kids and was a wonderful mom and teacher. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was nurturing and loved her nephew KJ.  Brittany was spontaneous, loving, funny, outgoing, gentle, caring, big hearted, full of life, kind, and had a beautiful smile 

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Angelica Sanchez; great-grandfather, Agustine Sanchez; godmother/Nina, Erika Torres; uncle, Gilbert Torres; and grandpa, Danny Torres. 

She is survived by her son, Luis Ezra; mother, Jacqueline Sanchez; father, Daniel Torres and wife (Stepmom) Cindy Torres of Amarillo; brother, Joshua Hernandez and sister-in-law, Desi Hernandez; brother, Colby Torres and wife Odalys of Amarillo; brother, Preston Gates and wife Savannah of Amarillo; sister, Mackenzie Torres of Amarillo; grandfather, Francisco Sanchez; grandma and grandpa, Ofelia and William Heller of Canyon; grandma, Thuy Gates of Amarillo; uncle, Francisco F. Sanchez; aunt, Jessica Heller of Canyon; uncle, Christopher Heller and wife Jordan of Canyon; uncle, Anthony Torres and wife Angel of Canyon; uncle Jonathan Sanchez; aunt, Byanka Palma; aunt Yullisa Sanchez; aunt, Andrea and Sofia Sanchez; aunt, Christi Lane and husband Chris of Lubbock; aunt, Mandi Cervantez and husband Adrian of Idalou; niece, Camila Torres of Amarillo; nephew, Knox Hernandez; nephew, Calian Gates of Amarillo; uncle, Guy Gates and wife Connie of Phoenix; uncle, Billy Gates of Phoenix; aunt-Loni Ramirez and husband Sal of Wichita Falls; cousins, Lainey Heller, Liam Faulkner, Bryce Heller, Jacob Torres, Kaylina Torres, Krystal Torres, Selina Torres, Isaiah Bretado, Sophia Bretado, Alexis Eberl and family, Jimmy Matlock, Bryant Matlock, McKayla Fabila, Adi Hinojos, Jax Lane, Dylan, Paisley, Ariana and Aaliyah Cervantez; several cousins in Hereford and Pampa; and a whole lot of family who love her.
