Bryson was born on October 5, 2000, in Amarillo, Texas to Karan and Tom Shomaker.

Bryson was known as a “jack of all trades” and approached everything he did with determination and heart. He always gave his all at work and took pride in being able to learn, fix, build, and create. Bryson enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, and he also liked working with his 3D printer, bringing ideas to life with his hands and imagination. Above all, he made sure to set aside time for what mattered most—his wife and children. His love for his family was evident in the way he showed up for them, cared for them, and made memories with them. Being a father was one of Bryson’s greatest joys. He loved Daycen and Wayde with his whole heart and made time to be present in their lives, creating memories through laughter, play, and the simple moments that meant the most.

Bryson is preceded in death by: Grandparents, James and Janice Gandy, and great uncle Vance Gandy.

Bryson leaves behind his loving wife, Aspen Shomaker; his beloved son, Daycen Shomaker; his stepson, Wayde Roberts; his parents, Karan and Tom Shomaker; his grandparents, Fred and Sherry Shomaker; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles who will cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of support be made to “For the Benefit of Bryson Shomaker” at any Amarillo National Bank location.
