Carrie Fay Leamon

Carrie Fay Leamon, age 81, was born on July 22nd 1945 to Alva & Dorthy Graves in Amarillo, Texas). She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on October 23rd, 2026.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Rector Pioneer Chapel, 2800 Osage. Interment to follow at Llano Cemetery.

Carrie married Roy Leamon on May 20th, 1961. They spent 50 loving years together and had four children.

Carrie spent her life as a homemaker and mother. She loved spending time in her garden tending to her roses and other assorted plants. Her yard was even spotlighted in an interview she did for the local newspaper years ago. She spent her days watching soap operas, listening to Elvis or Dolly, and taking care of her children, then grandchildren, and later in life her great grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband Roy Leamon, her parents Alva & Dorthy Graves, brothers Dennis & Donald Graves, and sister Betty Walton.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children Roy Leamon Jr., Cindy Chambers and husband Rick, Patty Bradley, Cathy Thompson and husband Carl. Her sister Barbara Boone. Her grandchildren Joseph Ray, Aaron Ince and wife Tami, Rachel Kirkes, Chyna Garnet and husband Joe. Great Grandchildren Gabby, Liylah, Kinsley, Willow, Avery, and Leland, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
