Chanjira Doherty

We mourn the loss of Chanjira (Eeing) Doherty, who passed away on February 19, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas.

A gathering will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Chanjira was born on June 14, 1970, and lived a fulfilling life surrounded by her loved ones.

Chanjira was able to devote her life being a loving mother to her children, Jessica and Parker, alongside her husband Ron. She adored her grandchildren, Carter and Memphis, and cherished every moment with them; especially, spending an evening belting out her favorite songs during karaoke.

Her yearly return to her home in Thailand continued to reinvigorate her so she could return carrying all the joy she expressed daily. Chanjira had a passion for cooking and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Her home cooked dishes brought joy and comfort to those around her ensuring everyone had a smile.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. To know her is to love her and be loved by her. Rest in peace, Chanjira.

She is survived by her enduring family, Ronald Scott, husband; Jessica Nicole, daughter; Parker Windell, son; Carter Scott, grandson; Memphis Tripp, grandson; additional families, The Nott family, Brandon, Sasipen, Colton, Kylie, Kennedy, Kevin and Fate Neal. All remaining family keeping the joy alive in Thailand; close friends, Kleua Ames, Sirimard King, The Davis Family, and The Parrott family, Charles, Pratoom, Noble.
