Charles "Chuck" Lanier, 83, of Amarillo passed away May 17, 2026.
No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Chuck was born October 3, 1942 in Port St. Joe, Florida to Charles and Mable Lanier. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. He is survived by a very large family and many friends!
Chuck joined the Air Force after high school and continued to fly high for the rest of his life, just not in the Air Force. Those who know Chuck will tell you he's a good time wrapped in laughter and trouble. He was a character and not easily forgotten. He will be deeply missed.
