Charles Harry Hartman

Charles Harry Hartman passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on March 26, 1935, in Lockney, Texas to Harry Russell Hartman and Mamie Lou (Jarnigan) Hartman, Charles was an army veteran, a lifelong salesman, and a devoted follower of Christ.

On June 12, 1955, Charles married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Nita Jo Day. They were married for over 60 years before Jo’s passing on February 5, 2010.

Charles is survived by his beloved three children Charles (Chuck) H. Hartman, Jr. and Sylvia Garza of Carrollton, Texas, Roben Hartman and wife, Donna of Georgetown, Texas, and Pamela Hartman Krakosky and husband David of Carrollton, Texas. He was the proud Granddad to seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. We will forever cherish his memory and continue to be inspired by his enduring faith.
