Cynthia Ann Johnson

Cynthia Ann Johnson, 76, of Amarillo, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2026.

Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Trent Taylor officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Cynthia was born in Iraan, Texas, on December 29, 1949, to Alma Gwendolyn “Gwen” (White) and J. N. Taylor. She graduated from Iraan High School and went on to receive an associate degree from South Plains Junior College in Computer Science. 

Cynthia married Bob Johnson in Levelland, Texas, on February 23, 1969. 

Cynthia was an owner and helped with programming and quality assurance for MicroFour. She loved spending time crafting, being with her family, and having lunch with her friends. Cynthia never met anyone she did not like, you became her friend as soon as you said hello. 

Cynthia was a loving wife, mom, sister, and aunt. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Todd Johnson. 

She is survived by her husband, Bob Johnson; brothers, Steve Taylor and wife Delight, Jay Taylor and wife Jena, and Brett Taylor and wife Karen; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
