Danny Slaughter

Danny Slaughter (61) went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 6, 2026. Danny was born on June 25, 1964. He was raised in Amarillo, TX but later in life found love and his home in Waurika, OK with wife, Jackie.

Danny had an adventurous life full of fun and mischievous activities. He loved his children but most of all his grandchildren. Danny was known by many names at Love's Travel Stops in Wichita Falls. Those names include, 'Big Daddy Dino', 'Dannybobanni', and 'Tropical Pimp Daddy' and will be missed.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Slaughter, Grandfather and Grandmother, Edward and Faye Slaughter, and Grandmother, Grace 'Tiddle' Vaughn.

Danny is survived by wife, Jackie of Waurika, OK. Daughters, Jeni Bouillion and Kari Slaughter, of Willis, son Jacob Slaughter of Amarillo, bonus daughters Sherry Campbell of Waurika, OK and Kayleigh Howard of Amarillo, his mother, Linda Webb and brother, Bobby Slaughter of Amarillo. He is also survived by a circus of monkeys, also lovingly known as nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved Aunt, Gayenell Vaughn of Amarillo. He is survived by his 8 grandchildren, Bryce, Paralee, Benjamin, June, Hazalyn, Olivia, Charlie and Harleigh who referred to him as 'Papa' or 'Rooster'.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
