Carsten Witt, 38, of Colorado Springs passed away May 6, 2022 after a lifetime struggle with mental illness.
Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 23, 2022, at Llano Cemetery in Amarillo, Texas, officiated by St Andrew’s Episcopal Clergy. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
David was born in El Paso, TX on August 17, 1983, to Terri Roberts Witt and Phillip David Witt. He attended Pampa High School and Amarillo College. He enjoyed cooking for family, watching MMA and cold weather!
His illness made both relationships and employment difficult, but he never gave up the struggle, working and expressing his love of family when he was able.
He was preceded in death by all his grandparents. David leaves behind his five year old son, Carsten Michael Witt. and his bereft parents, his brothers Aaron and Ryan, sister in laws Ashley and Desairae, nephews Dane, Gage and Jude.
