Dennis Lee Dorsey

Dennis Lee Dorsey, 69, of Amarillo, TX passed away June 30, 2026.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 10, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Dennis was born February 5, 1957 in Amarillo, TX to Bobby and Nancy Dorsey. He grew up in Amarillo and was a part owner in Dorsey’s Marble and Tile. Dennis loved to shoot pool and go to the Broken Spoke. Above all else, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was an amazing man/dad, was loved by all those who ever met him and had a quick wit that kept you on your toes. Dennis would gladly be the first person to give the shirt off his back; a true one-of-a-kind Legend!

Dennis is survived by his wife, Jody Farriell; son, Shane Dorsey; daughter, Jaime Dorsey; brother, Danny Dorsey; and grandchildren, Mikayla Dorsey, Carson Beasley, Kiowa Parker, Jace Stewart, and Caleigh Stewart.
