Douglas Eric Chilton

It is with a very heavy heart that the family of Douglas Eric Chilton announce that he passed away at the age of 65 in the late Spring of 2024. 

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Kay Feferman; brother, David G. Chilton; nephew, Sean G. Chilton; and his sister-in-law, Jennifer Meek-Chilton. 

Doug was an adventurer who traveled the world taking beautiful photographs as well as a professor of photography. He dabbled in other professions but seemed the happiest when creating photogenic memories. Doug cared about what was going on in the world and did his best to try and help out causes of the underdog.

Doug’s favorite companions were his two dogs, first Jackie then Kendall. He has once dreamed of finding another canine friend and travelling the United States by car. Unfortunately, his health in later days did not allow him to take this last adventure. Doug had friends all around the world and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family.
