Dr. LeaAnn (Slaughter) Crosser went to her eternal home on April 8, 2026, at the age of 71.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 13, 2026, at Westlawn Memorial Park, 8745 TX-136, in Fritch, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
LeaAnn was born December 1, 1954, in Fort Worth, TX. She graduated from Iowa Park High School and went on to study at Texas Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. While at Texas Tech, she also served on several boards. She later completed her Doctorate.
Throughout her life, Dr. Crosser dedicated herself to serving others in meaningful ways, bringing both compassion and wisdom to her work. She held numerous certifications in management and auditing where her integrity and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on those she served.
LeaAnn was known for her kindness, quick wit, and generous spirit. She found joy in helping others, spending time with loved ones, and living out her faith daily. A devoted believer in Christ, her life reflected grace, strength, and unwavering faith. Dr. Crosser will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur W. Crosser; parents, LaVerne and Lee Slaughter; grandparents, Elizabeth and Howard Payton, Christen Peterson, and Thelma Ann Slaughter; her daughter, Toni Bennett; and two sisters, Teresa Fowler and Wendy Slaughter.
Survivors include her cousins, Pam and Roy Brookshire, of Midland, TX, Patricia and Billy Moon, of Elm Springs, AR, and her close friend, Virginia Lehman and husband Milt, of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by her niece, Christina Fisher, nephew Billy Fowler, as well as other family members and friends.
