Dwight "DJ" Joseph Rogers

Dwight Joseph “DJ” Rogers, 71, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on March 30, 2026.

DJ was born in Newport, Rhode Island on July 12, 1954, to Wanda Rose (Block) and Donald Earl Rogers. He served his county in the US Navy from 1976 to 1987, retiring as a Machinist Mate First Class and receiving his sea service medal in 2002. DJ will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and perseverance in all aspects of his life. He is survived by his children Casey (son), Carly (daughter) and Kristen (daughter), and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church (1601 I-40, Amarillo, TX 79109). Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
