Elaine J McDowell

Elaine J McDowell was born on December 24,1943, in Greeley, Colorado to Jacob and Louise (Stratman) Lapp. She went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.

Elaine is survived by her children, Sherri Christensen (JC), Douglas Case, Jennifer Moreno (Ryan), and stepdaughter, Valorie Allen; sister, Norma Ewertz; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; both of her husbands; a son, Charles Case Jr.; and twin grandchildren.
