Freddie Lee Richardson, 91, of Amarillo, TX passed away on December 28, 2023.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at First Family Church, 6101 Bell St., with Brother Billy Nickell officiating. Private burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Freddie was born in Jackson, Tennessee on December 10, 1932, to Dorothy (Ezell) and Cecil Richardson. He served in the United States Army and saw action in the Korean War and was awarded the Korean Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Stars.

Freddie served as an evangelist from the early fifties and then served as a pastor of Souls Harbor Church in Amarillo, Texas for 38 years. He also served on the staff at First Family Church in Amarillo, Texas until his retirement.

Freddie loved helping missionaries to be able to spread the love of God around the world.

Freddie was married to Edna from December 31, 1961, until her death on September 11, 2018. He married his wife Delores on July 25, 2020.

Survivors include wife, Delores Richardson; son, Kenny Richardson and wife Vicky, of Harlen, Georgia; daughter, Linda Seals and husband Gary of Springfield, Missouri; granddaughter, Lynette Fine and husband Anthony of Pilot Point, Texas; great-granddaughter, Audry Mae; stepdaughters, Carla Dodgen and husband Mike of Lindale, Texas, and Carol Wempen and husband Sam of Happy, Texas, and their families.
