Gregorio C. Loe

Gregorio C. Loe, 83 of Amarillo, TX passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025.

Visitation will be from 2-4:00 PM, Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount. Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2025 at Llano Cemetery East. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Gregorio was born May 25, 1942, in Roscoe, TX, to Vicente and Teofila C. Loe.

He grew up in Loraine, TX where he later met and married Altagracia Rosas, in Loraine, TX in 1964. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2014. She was the love of his life.

Gregorio worked in road construction with his brothers before settling down in Amarillo with wife and family in 1972. He worked for ASARCO for 30 years until he retired. He loved mowing his lawn, working in his garden, fishing with his children and grandchildren, carpentry in his workshop, and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Altagracia; his sisters, Trinidad Arenas and Victoria Bryand; and brothers Vicente and Marcos Loe.

Gregorio is survived by his children, Diana Thomas and husband Steve of Magnolia, TX; Greg Loe Jr. and wife Kelley of Eustace, TX; Sarah Ann Loe and Mary Grace Loe of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren Courtny Loe of Tarpon Springs, FL; Michael Loe of Corpus Christi, TX; Erin Saxon of Phoenix, AZ; Emmilyne Martinez of Houston, TX; great grandchildren Ethan, Ezmia, Kaedyn Saxon and Leon Loe; siblings, brothers Frank Castro of Amarillo, TX, Cruz Loe of Odessa, TX, Mike Loe of Odessa, TX, Concepcion Arellano of Odessa, TX, and Felipa Fernandez of Odessa, TX.

Through memories our loved ones will live in our hearts forever. In this journey, goodbye is just a pause. The ones we love are not far from our hearts.

We will miss you Daddy, Grandpa, Brother, Tio, Friend.
