Buck was an avid fisherman with a love for the mountains of Colorado he also loved crappie fishing in Arkansas where he went several years with his father-in-law Milton Beck and a good friend James Mitchell all of Washburn. In his later years Buck was an avid wood worker and loved cabinet making. Buck was loved by all that knew him and he will be missed by many more. He was a devout Christian and member of the Washburn Baptist Church for many years where he served as head deacon. During his time at Washburn Baptist Church Buck led many people to Christ. Buck had spoken many times about wanting to be buried in his 97 Ford F-250 however since plot size is limited that will not be possible it will survive as a day-to-day reminder of the love his children had for him as much as he had for them. Buck served his country as a proud marine and remained a devoted patriot throughout his life Buck was a cold war patriot and it took its toll upon his body in his later years.
