Harrison Junior Grantham “YaYa”, 88, of Amarillo, TX passed away Monday, July 14, 2025.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, at Crossroads Country Church, 14425 FM 1541, with Bob Miller officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Harrison was born May 13, 1937, in San Antonio, TX to James and Lucille Grantham.
He first worked in auto body repair and even did that on the side while working at SPS (Nichols Station). Harrison was a founding member of Crossroads Country Church.
Harrison found pleasure in playing golf, snooker, and 42. He enjoyed being outdoors, loved going to The Refuge, and going to the mountain cabin in Red River, where he loved to fish. He also loved antique cars and John Deere tractors. Harrison could always be found working in his shop and listening to Bluegrass music.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Elizabeth Grantham (August 23, 1957 to July 14, 2012); and six siblings, Kenneth, Fred, Dorothy Jean, Judy, Edna, and Louise.
Survivors include his daughters, Gaye Cudney and husband Gary, and Sherrie Miller and husband Todd, all of Amarillo, TX; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Matt Lichtie (Kylie), Keith Lichtie (Kourtney), Angela Shevchenco (Kirill), Ryan Miller, Jared Miller (Alyssa), and Nathan Miller (Paiton), Colby Cudney, and Corey Cudney; and eight great-grandchildren, Lex, Ruth, Shiloh, Joanie, Joy, Vika Yana, and Charlee.
