Hazel Juanita Barley, 88, of Dumas, TX died Thursday, June 22, 2023.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox Ave.
Hazel was born January 30, 1935, to Luther and Lula Mae (Hamilton) Anglin in Dumas, TX, where she grew up.
She married Wesley Barley on March 1, 1951, in Clayton, NM.
She was a real estate agent in the 1980’s and a homemaker. Hazel enjoyed cooking holiday dinners and spending time with family. She also enjoyed yardwork and socializing with church friends. She was a member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Trina Dawn Withers; her husband, Wesley Barley; and a grandson, Michael Withers.
Survivors include a son, Terrance Barley, of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Evelyn Stell, of Amarillo; a brother, Larry Anglin of Borger, TX; granddaughter, Kanda Vasquez, of Stinnett, TX; great-grandchildren, Aaron, Brandon, Rebecca; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be from Noon until 6:00 p.m., Friday, and from 9-10:00 a.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
