Heather Joy Stashi, 45, of Amarillo, Texas went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2026. She was born on March 22, 1981, in Pipestone, Minnesota.
She graduated from Vega High School in Vega, Texas, in 1999. Driven by a lifelong passion for learning and serving others, she continued her education at Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas, where she earned her Pharmacy Technician license. In April 2011, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. Never one to stop pursuing new goals, she earned her real estate license in 2023 and completed her Master of Business Administration degree from Wayland Baptist University in July 2024.
Throughout her life, she built a career marked by dedication, versatility, and hard work. She served as a Pharmacy Technician at BSA, a Division Training Officer at Pantex, a Field Representative for the United States Census Bureau, a licensed Realtor, and, most recently, the Band Manager for Relic. In every role she held, she brought professionalism, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to those she worked alongside.
Heather had a remarkable way of brightening every room she entered, bringing warmth, comfort, and joy with nothing more than her smile. No matter what life placed before her, she faced each day with grace, kindness, and a smile that reflected the strength of her spirit. Her heart was truly selfless, always putting the needs of others before her own and never hesitating to give her time, love, or support to those she cared about. She loved deeply and unconditionally, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for the people she loved. Her compassion, generosity, and unwavering love touched countless lives, and her memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though she will be deeply missed, the light she shared with the world will never fade from the hearts of those who loved her.
Heather is proceeded in death by her maternal grandpa, Dale Lambert; her paternal grandpa, Ted Schwing; and her uncle, Craig Lambert.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Randy Stashi; her maternal grandma, Arlene Lambert; her paternal grandma, Sadonna Schwing; her parents, Mark and Brenda Schwing; her two sisters, Stacy (Steven) Hoffman, and Kendra Schwing (Chance Fuchs); her brother, Kyle (Stacey) Schwing; her three daughters, Miranda Gardner, Swaydin (Dylan) McIntosh, and Traylee Lemaster (Ethan Mendoza); her two step sons, Zakk and Austin (Jane) Stashi; her step daughter, Destiny (John) Whitaker; her three nieces, Remi, Oakley, and Cambree Hoffman; her two nephews, Everett and Mason Schwing; her two grandchildren Kade and Lena Whitaker; her sweet puppy, Butters; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 9, 2026 at The Loft Church, 4400 S. Georgia St. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
