Jana Brooks Lynch

Jana Brooks Lynch, 76, of Amarillo, TX passed away May 13, 2025.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Private interment will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Jana was born on November 22, 1948 in Stockton, CA to Creighton Lynch and Dixie Shaw. She grew up in Amarillo, TX and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1967. Jana earned her Bachelor of Science degree from WTAMU in Social Work. Jana retired after twenty years in the 100th judicial district as chief juvenile probation officer where she loved every child she worked with. After retirement she settled in volunteering at the PARC and loving her rescue dogs in Amarillo.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Mike Lynch.

Jana is survived by her sons, Shawn Tucker and wife Jenny of Amarillo, TX, and Gannon Tucker and wife April of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, David, Justice, Creighton, Baylee, and Evan; sister-in-law, Ann of Amarillo, TX; and nephews, Jason Lynch and wife Jennifer and Barry Lynch and wife Judy, of Amarillo, TX.
