Jessica Meagan Line, 46, of Amarillo, TX passed away March 25, 2026.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel with Michael Neagle officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers, Amarillo, Texas.
Jessica was born June 4, 1979, in Amarillo, TX to Vicki Lynn Farren and Samuel Wood Line. A proud graduate of Lubbock High School, she spent her life teaching those around her that communication is about the light you bring into a room rather than the words you speak.
Though she faced physical challenges, Jessica lived vibrantly. Whether crossing rugged mountain passes in a Jeep with her mother, riding on a motorcycle with her father, or camping with her family, she met every adventure with her legendary, infectious belly laugh. From Philadelphia to the Pacific Coast, she was the center of every family trip, most notably cruising Disneyland in a convertible with her Minnie Mouse ears on.
To know her was to be amazed by her strength. She worked harder than anyone to navigate a world not built for her, yet she never once complained. She was tenacious, always striving to be her best self, and her determination was nothing short of heroic.
Jessica had a unique gift of bringing people together, creating a community of family and friends who were better simply for having known her. She reminded us daily to appreciate the things we often take for granted and to find the joy in a loud song and a good meal.
In our family of four daughters, she was our Beth. Much like the beloved sister in Little Women, she was the quiet conscience of our family who brought us together and kept us grounded, teaching us what it means to be present. Losing her feels like losing a part of ourselves, especially for her twin, Alexis, who walked every step of this journey by her side and with whom she shared a special bond.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Melvill and Lorraine Farren, Jim and Dot Line, her aunts Loragene Farren Line and Cherie Line Goode, and two nieces, Rebecca and Caroline Holder.
Survivors include her mother, Vicki Farren Line; her father and stepmother, Sam, and Vicki Line; her sisters and their spouses, Samantha and Whitt Holder, Rachael and Michael Neagle, and Alexis and Kevin Wright; aunts and uncles, James Farren, Kenneth and Vickie Farren, Jim and Karen Line, Curtis and Amy Hail, and many cousins.
Her legacy continues through her beloved nieces and nephews: Katherine Holder and husband Nick Yost, Hawks Holder and wife Hailey, India Holder, Bronwyn Wright, Boaz Wright, Holland Wright, Ephraim Neagle, and Loralei Neagle; as well as her great-nephew, Brooks Holder, and her great-niece, Ellie Holder.
Though her physical journey has ended, her belly laugh will echo in every room we enter together. She was beautiful, she was fierce, and she was ours.
The family would like to thank her many care givers from her residential home, hospice, and NWTH.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Jessica’s honor to Acts Community Music School program (816 S. Van Buren, Amarillo, TX 79101) or by planting a tree in tribute to her love of being outdoors.
