Jessie Fae Kinsey

February 21, 1933 — January 20, 2026

Jessie Kinsey, born February 21, 1933, in Grimes, Oklahoma, entered the arms of Jesus on January 20, 2026, at the age of 92, surrounded by the love she so generously shared.

With a heart as big as the state of Texas, Jessie was a devoted wife, cherished mother, beloved grandmother, and steadfast friend. She married the love of her life, Marion Kinsey, on March 3, 1951, and together they built a life of deep partnership, and enduring love.

As a homemaker, Jessie devoted herself to raising her two beloved daughters with patience, pride, and unwavering care. She extended that same warmth to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, becoming the steady, loving center of their lives.

Jessie was deeply involved in the Daughters of the Nile Avihk Temple No. 70 serving as Queen and the Order of the Eastern Star A.E. Shirley No. 986 where she held titles of Worthy Matron, serving with dedication and grace. She also found great joy in painting, creating beautiful works that reflected her creative spirit and brought delight to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, and her daughter, Connie Kinsey Powell.

Jessie is survived by her devoted husband, Marion Kinsey; her daughter, Debbie Stern (Dean) of Cape Coral, FL; her sister, Connie Sue Nicholson of Devine, TX; her grandchildren, Joli Ariola (Matt) of Amarillo, TX, Jaclyn Myers (Jason) of Amarillo, TX, Chock Grady of Colorado Springs, CO, and Alicia Moen (Tom) of Suffolk, VA; her great-grandchildren, Alexa Curry (Garrett), Dylan Ariola (Nikki), Cade Ariola, Oscar Young (Miccaela), Lily Chambers (Albert), Quinton Myers, and River Moen; and three great-great-grandchildren.
