Joaquin Venzor

Joaquin Venzor, 71, of Dumas died on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Cactus. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Cactus with Father Juan Carlos Barragan officiating. Burial will follow at the Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Joaquin was born on February 7, 1955 in Mexico to Ruben Loya and Maxima Venzor. He moved to Dumas in 1988 and began farming. He worked as a carpenter, welder, mechanic, and concrete worker. He loved horses and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Cactus.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Natalia Venzor on May 10, 2026.

He is survived by three daughters, Cinthya Venzor, Nathalie Venzor, and Priscilla Venzor all of Dumas; two sons, J.J. Venzor of Amarillo, and Isaac Venzor of Dumas; and nine grandchildren, Tori, Alex, Caryme, Ruben, Alexandra, Rodrigo, Aiden, Kinsley, and Everly.

El Rosario se celebrará a las 18:00 horas del martes 22 de septiembre de 2026 en Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Cactus. La misa funeral se celebrará a las 14:00 horas del miércoles 23 de septiembre de 2026 en Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Cactus, oficiada por el padre Juan Carlos Barragan. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio de Dumas. Los arreglos están a cargo de Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors de Dumas.

Joaquín nació el 7 de febrero de 1955 en México, hijo de Rubén Loya y Máxima Venzor. Se mudó a Dumas en 1988 y comenzó a dedicarse a la agricultura. Trabajó como carpintero, soldador, mecánico y hormigonero. Le encantaban los caballos y pasar tiempo con su familia, especialmente con sus nietos. Era miembro de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Cactus.

Le precedió en la muerte su esposa, Natalia Venzor, el 10 de mayo de 2026.

Le sobreviven tres hijas, Cinthya Venzor, Nathalie Venzor y Priscilla Venzor, todas de Dumas; dos hijos, J.J. Venzor de Amarillo e Isaac Venzor de Dumas; y nueve nietos: Tori, Alex, Caryme, Ruben, Alexandra, Rodrigo, Aiden, Kinsley y Everly.
