John Valadez

Juan “John” Valadez, 30, of Amarillo, TX died July 1, 2024.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors. 

John was born June 30, 1994 in Amarillo, TX to Juan Valadez and Liza Dominguez. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 2012 and was a member of Amarillo Fellowship Church. John was also a talented artist. 

John is survived by his wife Chasity Swindell; mother, Liza Dominguez; sister, Whitlee Cerda; brother, Andrew Dominguez; daughters, Casey and Telly Valadez; grandmothers, Rosalinda Vera and Victoria Alarcon all of Amarillo, TX; great-grandmother, Manuela Mitchell of Plainview, TX; and niece, Madeleine Cerda of Amarillo, TX.
