Jose Juan Garnica, Jr. 74, of Amarillo, TX passed away, Monday, August 25, 2025.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
He was born August 2, 1951, in Olton, TX to Joe and Petra Garnica.
On May 12, 1973, he married Linda Johnston in Clovis, New Mexico.
Joe had a passion for the Dallas Cowboys, barbecue, the outdoors, fishing, and working on cars. Most importantly, he cherished his family and loved spending time with them and his dog.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Timothy Garnica; his parents; and his sister, Vicky Stewart.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Garnica, of the home; a daughter, Andrea Garnica, of Beaumont, TX, two sons, Brian Garnica of Amarillo, and Chris Miller, of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Ayden, Kailyn, Saniya, and Joseph; his sister, Josie Portillo, of Littlefield, TX; two brothers, Albert Garnica, of Lubbock, and Paul Garnica, of Memphis, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
