Juanita Turner White Hudson, 95, of Terre Haute, IN passed away on June 16, 2026.

Visitation will be from 9-10:30 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount. Graveside service will follow at 11:00 AM at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Juanita was born on May 6, 1931 in Collingsworth County, TX, to Ora Brown Turner and Ruby Hedger Turner.

Juanita grew up in Wellington, Texas and Bend, Oregon. She was a graduate of Quail High School. She married in 1948 had four children and moved to Amarillo where they all graduated from Amarillo High School.

She was a homemaker and helped run the family business until retirement. She married Troy Eugene Hudson on July 20, 1989. They traveled extensively with their Airstream trailer. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo and watched the services on television when she wasn’t able to be there in person. She was also a member of the Rebecka’s and the Red Hat Society. After she was widowed she spent time with friends playing cards and enjoyed being an active grandmother to six grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by beloved husband, Troy Eugene Hudson; sister Roberta Turner Wheeler; daughter-in-law, Joyce Rachui White; son-in-law, Travis Plumlee; one infant granddaughter; and two infant grandsons.

She is survived by her children, Alvin W. White, Jr, Lindy White (Tricia), Sharon Plumlee, and Jeff White (Sandra); grandchildren, Stephanie Land (Billy Fansler), Alison Stearns (Josh), Austin Plumlee (Chris Brown), Kimberly Allen (Curtis), Jennifer Yeatts (Mark), and Holly Hoad (Nicholas); great-grandchildren, Hudson Stearns, Ava Plumlee, Smith Plumlee, Landry Plumlee, Jace Brown, Malachi Brown, Beckham Brown, Chandler Brown, Pierce Brown, McKenzie Wrin (Graham), James Vaughan (Alysia), Gracie Glover (Logan), Erin Hoad, Eleanor Allen, Justin Hoad, Caleb Reynolds, Beatrice Yeatts and Elizabeth White; great-great grandchildren, Wyatt Vaughan, Ruby Wrin, and Lenora Glover.
