Kristi Lynn Kirkpatrick

Kristi Lynn Kirkpatrick, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on April 7th, 2026 at her home.

A celebration of Kristi’s life will take place at 11:00 AM, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers, Amarillo, Texas.

Born in Dumas, Texas on March 13th, 1968, Kristi attended Dumas High School. She spent 10+ years at Attebury Grain, building the Grain Smart system, and helping Attebury Grain grow. Kristi loved riding motorcycles, reading a good book, seeing Kid Rock live, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Kristi was preceded in death by her husband David Leyba and her father Leon Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her children, Beau “Jace” Leyba and partner Kayla of Hamilton, New Zealand, Tyson Leyba, wife Ashley, and their daughter, Lorelei, of Amarillo, Texas; Mother, Pamela and husband Donald Baker of Borger, Texas; Siblings, Karri Jones, David Kirkpatrick, Jason Baker, Sabrina Pena, and brother-in-law Paul Leyba; as well as many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Kristi will be remembered for her fierce personality; she was honest, passionate, and refused to settle for less than what she believed to be right. She was known for her passion for her community; She spent years trying to help the homeless off the streets with Amarillo Housing First. Most importantly, she will be remembered for her love for her family; she had an unwavering love for every single member, no matter the situation.
