Larry Alan Ruzowski, 74, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Viewing will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and visitation with the family from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Larry was born on September 12, 1951, in Amarillo, Texas, to Ernest and Jean Ruzowski. He spent his life rooted in the values of hard work, dedication, and devotion to family.

Larry married the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Micki Ruzowski. Together they shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership.

Larry enjoyed an outstanding career with Amarillo Gear Company, where he retired after many years of hard work. His expertise and dedication to his craft took him around the world, traveling to numerous countries to perform his work and represent his profession with pride. He earned the respect of colleagues and friends through his strong work ethic, knowledge, and integrity.

Above all else, Larry was a family man. His greatest joy came from caring for his wife and daughters and supporting them in every stage of life. He especially enjoyed traveling, playing golf, and cheering on his youngest daughter from the stands throughout her basketball career. Whether at home, on the golf course, or exploring new places, Larry treasured the time he spent with those he loved.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Jean Ruzowski; and his sister, Ernestine Conway.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Micki Ruzowski; his daughters, Jill Martinez and husband David Martinez, and Jan Ruzowski and her life partner, Lethi Martinez; his sister, Vicky Duffy; two grandsons, Kristopher and Michael Martinez; two granddaughters, Rylee and Lainee Johnson; two nephews; three nieces; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Larry will be remembered for his steadfast love, generous heart, quiet strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he loved and the countless memories he leaves behind.

The family finds comfort in knowing that Larry's love, guidance, and example will remain with them always.
