Leslie “Les” LeRoy Brown, 94, of Amarillo, TX passed away January 17, 2025.
The family will receive friends from 5-6:00 PM, Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Second Baptist Church, 419 N Buchanan. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Les was born June 21, 1930, in Courtland, KS to Leslie and Leona Brown.
He is preceded in death by father, Jackie Brown; mother, Leona Van Vleet; and sister, Myrna Wingrove.
Les is survived by his wife, Nancy Brown; son, Scott Brown and wife Linda; grandchildren, Trevor and Meredith Lightfoot, and Jeremy and Sabrina Moomaw; great-grandchildren, Tanner and Dresden Cordova, and Rhett Whitley; and great-great-grandchild, Charlestyn Cordova.
