Leticia Trejo de Mendoza

Leticia Trejo de Mendoza, 61, of Dumas, died on Friday, November 21, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Leticia was born on January 10, 1964 in La Veracruz, Satevo, Chihuahua, Mexico to Asuncion Trejo-Borunda and Rafaela Tarango Viuda de Trejo. She had lived in Gruver for twenty-three years before moving to Dumas in 2014. She had worked for Seaboard foods for over twenty years and Walmart in Dumas the last several years. She loved spending time with family and going on walks around the park. She was a very devoted mother to her two sons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Heriberto Rivero.

She is survived by her husband, Silvio Mendoza of Dumas; two sons, Roberto Mendoza of Odessa and Cesar Mendoza and fiancé Callie Yarborough of Lubbock; two brothers, Manuel Trejo of Perryton and Nicolas Trejo of Chihuahua, Mexico; and four sisters, Genoveva Trejo of Dumas, Alvara Trejo of Midland, Tx., Maria del Rosario Trejo of Dumas, and Maria de Luz Rivero of Hennessey, Ok.

Leticia Trejo de Mendoza, de 61 años, de Dumas, falleció el viernes 21 de noviembre de 2025. Los servicios funerarios se celebrarán a las 10:00 a.m. el martes 25 de noviembre de 2025 en la Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox. El entierro tendrá lugar en el cementerio Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Los arreglos están a cargo de Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors de Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.

Leticia nació el 10 de enero de 1964 en La Veracruz, Satevo, Chihuahua, México, hija de Asunción Trejo-Borunda y Rafaela Tarango Viuda de Trejo. Vivió en Gruver durante veintitrés años antes de mudarse a Dumas en 2014. Había trabajado para Seaboard Foods durante más de veinte años y para Walmart en Dumas los últimos años. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con la familia y dar paseos por el parque. Fue una madre muy dedicada a sus dos hijos.

La precedieron en la muerte sus padres y un hermano, Heriberto Rivero.

Le sobreviven su marido, Silvio Mendoza, de Dumas; dos hijos, Roberto Mendoza de Odesa y César Mendoza, y su prometida Callie Yarborough de Lubbock; dos hermanos, Manuel Trejo de Perryton y Nicolás Trejo de Chihuahua, México; y cuatro hermanas, Genoveva Trejo de Dumas, Alvara Trejo de Midland, Texas, María del Rosario Trejo de Dumas y María de Luz Rivero de Hennessey, Oklahoma.
