Linda Kay Bingham

May 8, 1951 — Sep 11, 2026

Linda Kay Bingham, 75, passed away on September 11, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and countless cherished memories.

A Rosary will be said at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount, with Funeral Mass following at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be at Llano Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount.

Linda was born on May 8, 1951, to Mike and Germaine Connelly. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1969. On July 10, 2002, she married her love, Butch Bingham. They shared 24 wonderful years of marriage. Butch promised to love Linda through sickness and health, and he kept that promise.

To know Linda was to know someone who loved her family with her whole heart. Her family was her greatest joy and her proudest accomplishment. She loved her children deeply, but there was a particularly special place in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured every visit, every milestone, every laugh, and every opportunity to simply be together. Watching her family grow brought her immeasurable happiness, and those who knew her never doubted how deeply they were loved.

Linda had a quick wit and a wonderfully playful spirit. She could find humor in everyday moments and had a gift for making those around her smile. She had a song for nearly every occasion-usually one she had made up herself. Her spontaneous songs, laughter, teasing, and unmistakable personality brought a special kind of joy to the lives of those around her. These are the memories that will be treasured and retold for years to come.

Linda also had a generous and compassionate heart. She cared deeply about people and showed her love through kindness and giving. Whether someone needed a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply to know that someone cared, Linda was there. She gave generously of herself and had a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Butch Bingham; her children, Taysha Jameson and husband Stefan; Kerri O’Con and husband Steve; Kristal McCollum and husband Brian; and Brandon Bingham and wife Stacie.

She leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren: Trevor Cordova and wife Mariana; Halee Huffine and husband Travis; Tanner Cordova and wife Dresden; Hannah Simpson; Jake O’Con; Bryson Bingham; Alyssa McCollum; and Berkley Bingham, as well as eight great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy and pride.

Linda is also survived by her siblings, Robert Connelly and wife Cynthia; Anita Sims and husband Steve; Mike Connelly and wife Judy; Mary Robinson and husband Rex; and Brenda Bell and husband Don, along with many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mike and Germaine Connelly, and her sister, Carolyn Connelly.

Linda’s life was a gift to all who knew and loved her. She leaves behind more than memories- she leaves pieces of herself in the people she loved, the lessons she taught, the kindness she showed, the laughter she shared, and the love she poured into her family.

Her family will carry her with them in the stories they tell, the laughter they share, the kindness they show others, and in the songs that will forever remind them of her.

Though her place at the table will be deeply missed and her voice will no longer be heard singing one of her made-up songs, the love Linda gave so freely will remain.

She was deeply loved. She was deeply cherished. And she will never be forgotten.
