Linda Idoma Chasteen

Linda Idoma Chasteen, 80, of Amarillo, TX passed away July 4, 2025, in Santa Fe, NM.

Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 PM, Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.

Linda was born November 9, 1944, in Greenville Texas to Lester and Alphie Rachel.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Chasteen; daughter, Evelyn Delile; great-grandchildren, Justin Owens and Novalee Morrison; 10 brothers; and 10 sisters.

Linda is survived by daughters, Carol Morrison and Cheryl Greer; grandchildren, Brandon, Seth, Chase, Megan, Chris, Jason, Tabitha, Samantha, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Austin, Lauren, Tyler, Aspen, Avery, Riley, Brayden, Jayden, Thea, Asher, Talyn, Emilia, and Emmett; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
