Linda Estelle King, 77, of Amarillo, Texas passed away April 7, 2024.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 PM, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers, 2800 Paramount. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Boxwell Brothers. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
Linda was born May 8, 1946 in Roswell, NM to Wesley “Bud” and Clara Foster. She graduated from Roswell High School then attended Eastern New Mexico University in Portales. Linda married Jim King in 1976 at the New Mexico Military Institute in
Roswell, NM. She enjoyed horseback riding, photography, dog training, hunting, and fishing. Linda loved to decorate and play the piano, which she did so beautifully and was a longtime member of The Arena of Life Church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jim King; children, Jana Cor, Janece Mesick, Alan Jenkins and wife Donna Nelson, and Kim Wofford and husband Robert; grandchildren, Travis Rogers, Courtney Rogers, Cheyenne Cor, Cody Cor, Coulter Cor, Jackson Cor, Cole Mesick, Addison Mesick, Kathryn Giglio, Lindsey Celii, Conner Donahue, Molly Donahue, Julianne Wilson, Rebecca Thrasher, Sarah Lagunas, Megan Perez, and Lacey Wofford; 18 great-grandchildren; and brother, James Foster.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to ASPCA, 11901 Coulter St., Amarillo, Texas 79119.
